a short bio about the arctic flow from brian: "the arctic flow started as an idea in 2008 after obtaining some recording equipment. i began layering guitar tracks together to create ambient soundscapes. that was fun, but I wanted to start recording actual songs. so from 2008 to 2009 i eventually recorded a six song ep called i saw the silver sun and put it up on myspace. jacob graham from the drums heard it and contacted me asking if he could release it on his internet label holiday records as a free download. that ep came out in july 2009. in september 2009 i released the single too late to say i'm sorry also on holiday records and a month later another ep called december morning. the first full length release came out in december of 2009 called all the way until december and was a major turning point for the arctic flow. it was later released as a cassette on friendly otter records. but other than that, all those releases were only available as digital downloads. |
